The tiny house had everything you'd want for a weekend getaway for a couple or single. It was clean, well positioned near the beach access and surrounded by bushland. Great outdoor deck and picnic table. Parking right at the door. The receptionist was cheery and made us feel very welcome.

Instructions not clear couldn't get tv or Foxtel to work no proper instructions just Foxtel nothing to tell 3 remotes how to work anything. Spoilt our trip and manage ment Could not care less we older women not able to get out because of the inclement weather .I paid almost ,,_$1100 for 3 days our mobiles wouldn't work no internet no entertainment as advertised included in price...I EXPECT TO BE FINANCIAL COMPENSAITED No dishwasher liquid how expect to keep kitchen clean ridiculous.... overall very disappointed. Spoilt our gathering.. should not have happened

Everyone is very friendly and will answer any questions. It was a relaxing place. If you love golf the course is very good, If you love fishing you are in heaven. If you love wildlife, you will see dingoes, and there is plenty of bird spotting if you are into ornithology

We ate at Benchmark, which was very good. As our first night was a Monday there weren't many places open. We enjoyed our meal so visited again on Tuesday night. Getting around Hawks Nest is easy. We walked everywhere. No negatives to report.

Close to the beach. Too far from Nelson Bay. The distance on the website says 7kms, but they should specify by water not by road. I would have not gone there if I had known. Dirty rooms, need a makeover.

Hawks Nest is a great place to stay. There are several restaurants and a supermarket. The ferry leaves Hawks Nest several times a day to go to Port Stephens and return. The dolphin cruise also departs from Hawks Nest, although it is also very probable to see many dolphins on the ferry trip across to Nelson Bay.

It was a lovely place that I had never been to before. I loved the beach and plan to come back in the warmer weather when it is not school holidays. It was great having the cafe at the motel and we enjoyed our meal at the local Chinese restaurant down the road.

location was excellent close to the beach and the caravan park the room was ok needed a little more light and fresh air but the bed and bathroom was fine the pool was good and the bar. food, and seating was lovely all over a good weekend away for the triathlon
